6 Ways To Use Apple Cider Vinegar For Sinus Infection!

Mixing these two amazing ingredients will surely stop and prevent the infection from coming back. Honey, like ACV, has strong antibacterial properties that can reduce irritation, and the anti-inflammatory properties help it reduce the inflammation in your throat. Honey will also reinforce your immune system and prevent any infections.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • A tablespoon of honey
  • 8 oz. of warm water

Preparation:
Mix the apple cider vinegar and honey in a glass of warm water and drink the solution to relieve the sinus congestion.

Apple cider vinegar decongestant
This decongestant will clear the mucus from the nasal passage and help you breathe easier. It’s a combination of apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, honey, lemon juice and ginger.

Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, an active compound that will open up the airways and reduce the inflammation.

Honey is a strong antibacterial agent which will eliminate the bacteria that caused the infection and prevent it from occurring again.

Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C, a vitamin that fights and cures infections.
Ginger is rich in certain anti-inflammatory compounds such as zingiberene, gingerol and shogaol which are great for sinus infections when combined.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ of a cup of apple cider vinegar
  • Half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • Half a teaspoon of powdered ginger
  • 3 tablespoons of raw honey
  • ¼ of lemon juice

Preparation:
Mix the ACV and lemon juice in a pot and simmer the mixture on low heat for a couple of minutes before adding the other ingredients. Allow the mixture to cool down and store it in a glass jar, keeping it in a dark and cool place. Take 1-2 tablespoons of it to cure and prevent the sinus infection.

Note: add a pinch of turmeric to make the mixture even stronger.
